- 08/27/2002 Closing reception of Hara Gallery @ the Aikido Institute of Texas was held in the evening.

- 08/18/2002 Jared's Sayonara party and special training were held in sensei's house and the dojo. Thank you Russell Alvey sensei and the members of North Texas Aikido for giving us an unforgettable experience.

- 08/02/2002 Opening reception of Hara Gallery @ the Aikido Institute of Texas was held in the evening. The Gallery is currently exhibiting prints by Elizabeth Hurtado from Aug. 2 ~ 27.

- 07/18/2002 Our beloved sempai, Jared Mays, did an excellent job on his 3rd kyu test. Congratulations!

- 07/16/2002 Huang, S. C. took his 4th kyu test after the evening class and passed it. Congratulations!

- 07/12/2002 The first rank text was held after the evening class. Ben Morris passed the 5th kyu exam. Congratulations!
